Prototypes - Ready to infect !

Hello there,

We would like to reveal the first prototypes of 'ImmunoWars; The Most Infectious Card Game'. We have received those masterpieces this week. Hereby, we want to show them to you!

If you pre-ordered the add-on 'prototype', we have sent you an invitation to collect your shipping details through our pledge manager 'Backerkit'. When these surveys have been filled in, we will reach out to you to let you know they are on their way! 

Hereby, we would like to show you the first 'Limited Edition Prototypes' below:

Those prototypes are not the final base game edition; they offer a lucky few the opportunity to try out the game and provide us with some valuable extra feedback. The final product will also include an inlay and some other nice tweaks. 

All feedback is welcome! This will be implemented in the final product. We will initiate the final production at the end of October! 

To give you an extra little sneak peek, here is a video to also give the people a view who haven't got the prototype as an add-on.

ImmunoWars Update; The Island & The Cave

Update Time! 

Good to have you here. 

I , Mr. White, would like to inform you about the current status of my efforts in order to protect us against Mr. Black. 

New Info About Mr. Black

What we do know is that Mr. Black has different stations where 'it' is developing viruses and bacteria. Let us not call him a human being, since what he is doing is inhumane. This is a frightening idea. We do not know where it is or what it is doing now but our spies have found one of his ex-base camps which seemed to be in a dark cave far beneath the surface. This is where we have found some of its plans of years and years ago. 

Those plans indicated that it has been working hard on a staggering amount of viruses and bacteria, which a lot of us have unfortunately encountered already such as Influenza, SARS-CoV-19, and Salmonella. Besides this, we found its darker plans. It is busy resurrecting the older unknown pathogens such as Smallpox and the Black Death... It is bringing those tiny monsters 'Back from the Dead'. And in order to prevent us from multiplying, we have found blueprints of 'Sexually Transmitted Diseases' (STD's) as a booster on its crazy plans. 

How to save ourselves?

I, Mr. White, have been working hard on the unhabited Island where I have stranded. I have set up an isolated laboratory to anticipate on what is happening and executing research to find the best tools to pursue a healthy future for us and the next generations. I am doubling my efforts in order to adapt to this new situation that we did not expect to happen. I will continue to finish the development of this batch of medicine, equipment, and vaccines to treat, protect, and prevent ourselves from being harmed. 

Secondly, after eras of research we isolated immune cells and figured out how they can help us in the battle against 'it'. All of those tools will be converted into cards just like Mr. Black is doing so we have an arsenal of bioweapons to encounter it at the battlefield and be secured for our safety... I hope...

The status

At this point,  Mr. Black is finishing up everything for the production of his artillery just like we are. The first entries on the battlefield are the prototypes which are estimated to be ready at the 15th of September. For the soldiers who have ordered this as an add-on; we will send you those as soon as possible and send you a message about the status.

The boxes with all our bioweapons in the form of cards stated as the Basegame, the STD Booster Pack, the Creators Edition & the Bismuth Edition; we are throwing everything we got to make sure we get you the most trustworthy estimated delivery date, which we will update you on as soon as possible. 

The Bismuth Lottery

We promised you all that we would throw a lottery for the last available Bismuth Edition, since they are out of stock after this lottery and they will never be in stock again unfortunately. After lot of requests to produce more of them, we are sorry to announce that there will be only made 21 of those in total. The lottery is done and we hereby announce that Hilde Zwaan won the last Bismuth Edition! Congratulations!

ImmunoWars Mass Outbreak Begins!

Thank you all for supporting this highly contagious journey! It has been a thrilling ride and hopefully this sets the tone for our campaign to keep on infecting the world with ImmunoWars. Thank you 14 000 times.

Infecting the world

While the campaign is done and dusted, our journey is far from over. Our work not nearly done. We'll continue working on ImmunoWars & engaging you by sharing our progress and asking for your input whenever possible. If you have any ideas, at any time, don't hesitate to reach out to us - or the rest of the community. Discussion and brainstorming is more than welcome, as well as infecting your friends with ImmunoMania.

As you might imagine, we need a small break to recharge our mitochondria and get ready for the next phase - getting you your brand-new copy of ImmunoWars! A little rest will enable us to reoganise and optimise our processes to get us through this phase in the best possible way.

For all the first-time backers who are still a bit unfamiliar with Kickstarter, a bit extra information:

• All important stuff will be announced in the Updates. You get an e-mail notification for them, so don't worry about missing any To be safe, just pop in here once a month to make sure, you are up-to-date.
• If you don't get e-mails from Kickstarter, check your spam folder.
• You will receive an e-mail that will give you access to the Backerkit Pledge Manager (once it's open).
• In Pledge Manager you will be able to choose a language version,  add some items and change your Pledge level. You will have the money you pledged here assigned to you, and that way you can easily pick & choose any items you want.
• If you are unsure, don't hesitate to ask a question! Also, make  sure that you have gone through the FAQ and the previous Updates.
• Don't worry, we have plenty of time to help you with everything.  Also, there are plenty people here that are familiar with Kickstarter projects, so don't be afraid to ask the community for help.

Stretch Goals #2 and #3 unlocked!!

Dear science patrons, crazy evil geniuses, and morally neutral backers,

At the very final breath of this campaign, you have managed to unlock not only the second, but also the third Stretch Goals! These are your rewards:

Stretch Goal #2 - All editions of the game are upgraded with an extra playerboard. As the result, the regular ImmunoWars experience is now playable by 6 players, while the Creators' and Bismuth Editions can now feature 7 players at once!

Stretch Goal #3 - We've managed to give over 200 people STDs, which is reason to celebrate by expanding the STD Booster Pack by 5 brand new cards (with a total of 30 cards in this deck).

Featured (#6) - Yersinia Pestis (Bismuth Edition)

In the fifth and final entry of our Featured series, we feel it's time to put the MVP (most vicious pathogen) of the Middle Ages back in the spotlight. Ladies and gentlemen, give it up forrrrrrrrrrr... Yersinia Pestis!! This bacteria, also aptly known as the Black Death, has wreaked absolute havoc throughout several periods in history, most notably in 1346-53, when it decimated 1/3th of the European population.

While Yersinia pestis has never been fully eradicated, its place in modern disease history has become far less prevalent, and therefore we decided to restore this bacterial powerhouse to its former glory in the ImmunoWars Bismuth Edition. Y. pestis is an extremely contagious bacteria that surpresses your immune system, making it difficult to defend against. However, several antibiotics are proven effective against this microscopic killer. Beware, however... When this pathogen manages to infect your bloodstream, you better act quickly or say goodbye.
